Bought for my 3-year-old to house his knights and horses - he was absolutely thrilled with this robust and authentic looking castle. It is the perfect size for Playmobil figures and opens up to create a bigger play area. It is similar in price to the playmobil castle but is a timeless toy and avoids all the 'fiddly bits' that seem to accompany every playmobil set these days. It is well made and looks good whilst allowing lots of imaginative play. Very happy to recommend this.

I've just unpacked this toy to get it ready to give to my daughter for Christmas (and have a play with it) and I love it! It's large and sturdy with walkways,turrets, stairs, a trapdoor and drawbridge that winds up and down. There are plenty of windows for princesses to look out of or fire from and you can use it closed or open. I've bought it with the early learning plastic castle figures who are a bit tall but fit OK. I've also got the Le Toy Van Barbarossa pirate ship with it and am hoping for lots of coastal skirmishes between the princesses and the pirates! A Very exciting toy with lots of potential.

We bought this for my grandson when he was five (six now) he really enjoys it and has great battles in it using his little super mario figures. Very versatile!!

I bought this on Friday and it arrived on Monday. It is amazing and I cant wait to play with it..with my son of course. He'll love it. It is very well made and a good size to. I have purchased some Playmobile knights to go with it. Excellent item and a good price for a toy that will last for years.

After reading so many positive reviews I simply had to order this castle for my four year old boy's birthday. It is absolutely delightful! Everything your little one could want in a castle that either opens right up or closes into a cosy courtyard. Lots of turrets, stairs, a jail and a drawbridge. Buy the little people to go with it too. Also, playmobil knights find it homely here too. A little boy or girl's dream....my boy loves it.

Bought the castle for our three year old son's birthday. He loves it and has played with it everyday since. No assembly is required, and it arrived promptly after ordering. The hinge is a great idea as the castle opens up making all of the rooms/features easily accessible. The moveable keep is also a good feature as you can place it in several locations around the castle. There are plenty of places to put your figures (not included) - stairs, ramparts, balconies, dungeons, turrets so hours of fun can be had. We opted for the playmobile knight figures in the end. They are a perfect size for the castle and come with a range of accessories. No regrets with this purchase!

My husband searched the internet for a Castle for my 3 year old son. This was an instant winner on spec and I am delighted to say that it has exceeded expectation. So much better (and more attractive) than a plastic version with adhesive stickers; it is a handsome castle and beautifully designed. Perfectly sized - large enough to facilitate real play but small enough to store. Lots of fun corners to explore, like the trap door and jail. Brilliant! Recommend to all.

I ordered the castle at a reduced price and was really pleased when it arrived. It is very well made and robust, which is perfect for my 3 yr old boy. He loves the dungeon and enjoys putting his soldiers in there. He has had it now for approx 3 weeks and has so far played with it every day. I did buy sets of soldiers and horses as they castle doesn't come with any but that wasn't a problem. A really nice toy that allows imaginative play, that also looks really nice in his bedroom.

my son had a castle but it broke very easily, i saw this and thought i would give it a go!!
was the right choice its amazing both my boys play with it,they say the best bit is 'chosing whether to play with it open or shut makes it more interesting'.

overall it was fantastic value for money strong great design and would really recommend it to anyone
only regret i have is not saving it for a xmas or birthday present!!!! just bought a replacement ;0]
