As with all Lego sets the instructions are easily understood and make the building unaccompanied by the age range easy to complete.Fantastic play value.

Bought for my sons 9th birthday......He loved building it and plays with it nearly every day.Nice. Very pleased with it as he has the airport also so he is able to have lots of fun.

I bought this for my son who loves Lego city. He built it all on his own and plays with it all the time. It's sturdy and well built and a great toy.
Well worth the money as Lego lasts a long time if looked after.

I BOUGHT THIS TOY FOR A BOY 5 YEARS OLD.IT'S A LIITLE BIT DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO FIX IT ALL ALONE SO HE PLAYS WITH HIS FATHER WHO LIKED IT TOO. MOREOVER THE TOY WAS DELIVERED ON TIME

I ordered this toy for my 6 yr old son as he is a lego fan. He was really thrilled to see this massive lego aeroplane and overall he was very happy playing with it everyday.

I have many Lego City and Creator sets, and this is one of my favourites. The price is great, £81 off Lego website makes a great saving if you get it from Amazon. I love the aircraft door, as it opens like a real aircraft door does, and I really like how you can remove the roof and play inside. Also, the plane is HUGE (50cm long ish). The tower is OK - there isn't too much to it. I really like the airport, loads of things come with it; Bag scanner, cafe, revolving doors etc. Theres no back to the airport, and no stairs to get to the top floor. Along with all this, you get the luggage car, and the stairs (the stairs aren't the correct size for the plane whilst on the back of the car).

Overall, this is an outstanding set, for both value and originality. (£52 when I got it).

Having played with Lego as a child, I remember the one model I tried to build but was always dissappointed with the results was a plane. This Lego set is great. Finally a Lego Aeroplane that is realistic and fits the Lego people.

On first glance it is easy to question how much work is actually required to build it. Most of the pieces (Wings, Body, etc) are custom made specifically to be an aeroplane. However, the balance between the size of the pieces and the effort required to build the plane is perfectly balanced.

A little help may be required when the wings are added to the plane, as due to the size of the model, the pieces can come apart if not pushed together enough, but this would only be a problem to smaller children.

My only concern is that one of the more unique pieces of this set, the wings, is a large single piece and as a result I can see this being prone to being snapped easily. However, this is an unavoidable weakness due to the size of the plane.

The rest of the set, the Airport, Control Tower and Vehicle are of the normal Lego standard.

My 8 year old daughter has had hours of fun playing with this set.

Bought this as a surprise for my Grandsons 5th birthday.He also wants the dinosaurs with THE CAGE.He loves Lego and this is just like all the others brilliant,Keeps him quiet for hours.I got it as it was reduced so really pleased with my bargains.
