My 2 year old nephew was delighted with this - I would definitely recommend it. Elephant, baby elephant, crocodile, ostrich, hippo etc plus a jeep and plane - just what he likes!

This is new released 2012 lego duplo safari zoo. I bought it to our boys for more different animals they can play with it. There is ostrich in it which you can not find it in other lego duplo sets. hippo and crocodile's mouths can move up and down and it is really fun. The kids love it and have a lot of fun to play with it. It is lego quality as usual, good and sturdy, worth every penny.

My son received this for his 2nd birthday alongside the deluxe box of duplo. It fits perfectly into the deluxe box which is great.
This set is fab because it's different! I love the safari animals, it makes a real change to farm animals. His favourite piece is probably the airoplane, he loves flying it around. Some of the animals have working jaws and the giraffe has a working neck. The quad bike has suspension, which is a great detail.
Paired with the deluxe duplo box I think we have all the duplo we will need until he is big enough for real lego!

Brought this for my sons 3rd Birthday - he LOVED it. He loves animals and is wonderful listening to his story lines. We've had to move the coffee table to give him space to leave his creations out to continue day after day.

This is a fabulous duplo set. I bought it for my 20 month old who has already spent hours playing with it. My six year old has been similarly entranced. There is a lot of play value with this set - the hippo and crocodile with their snapping mouths are my son's favourites, but with jeep, aeroplane and tent as well as the animals and people there is lots to do. The trees can be configured in a number of different ways which have also proved popular. There are a reasonable number of bricks, but it does help to already have at least a base plate and some standard duplo bricks to supplement play.
