This toy satisfies the early inspiring constructors! Great for the age range and even for the adults! Absolutely would recommend the 3-in-1 lego range,more for your money.

i bought 2 of these so my boys 10 & 8 could have one each. they spent months watching you tube reviews and researching it so they knew exactly what it did before they got it and are very pleased. i've marked 3 stars for durabitity as in another few weeks when quite a few pieces have fallen off and disappeared it will just be a pile of bricks in our lego box.

All 3 planes are sturdy and imposing. The engine lights are a very nice touch. We ended buying 2 boxes one for each of our homes.

The set is easy to build and very detailed; the light-up bricks work a treat and you can still put two minifigures in the cockpit.

Wow, I purchased this item for my son's 11th Birthday & I must say he loved it! His eyes were on stalks when he open the box and ever since he has kept it at the jet plane for now. Needless to say he is very impressed and I might add this has to be good value for money because if bought from a lego store it would cost another £10 or more. Keep up the good work amazon :)

The 'Sonic Boom' jet is quite a big model and a relatively easy build (with only a few parts in each step). The pictures on site don't really get across how awesome the light bricks look- it makes the jet look like, well, a jet. The folding landing gear and the opening cockpit (although the front canopy doesn't hinge open like the back one) are nice touches too. I can't say I've built the other sets, as I've been too busy 'flying' the jet around the house, but they look interesting too, although they don't look like they use the light brick as well as the jet model. All in all, a good set, and an especially good set for less than £35.

I find that it is often hard to judge how good a LEGO box will be based on the price. Sometimes the size of the object once fully built is a bit disappointing, or the construction is a bit simple. This one is very good. The fighter jet is very large, and the two light bricks are very cleverly incorporated in the design, along with the opening mechanism for the cockpit. Technically this was my son's birthday present, but in practice we both very much enjoyed building the jet together.

We haven't built the other two yet, but they look good as well. Right now my son is transforming the jet into a rocket.
