Lego Star wars kit 7961
This kit was requested by my grandson and kept him occupied for two full days making it, I consider that good value.

A brilliant Lego toy good fun to build I would get it again and if for nothing else got good bricks useful for customising other models

Bought this set for myself as the price was a rally good price thanks Amazon.

The mini figures are great and with great detail on them. This set however is more for display and not really for play as it breaks quite easy:(. Would not have paid the top price for it as in most of the stores in the area I live but for the price it was under £35.00 so it was a steal!!!! Star Wars fans will love it however for kids who are not mad over Star Wars they won't think its the best Lego set ever.

Over all I would rate this set as follows:

For younger kids 7 out of 10 (as it can break and not the best for palying with.)
For older kids 7.5 out of 10 (they will like the ship and mini figs.)
For the adults 8 out of 10 (great mini figs adults will buy for the mini figs, if you can get for a good price like me then buy it as for the price I paid fairly good set.)

Great ship to add to the kid's ever expanding Lego collection. Tricky to build in places for my 6 year old but his big brother helped (aged 11). Great little Darth Maul figure!

It doesn't look all that interesting on first glace, but this really is a brilliant set.

Mini figures: four prominent figures from the films, so it's definitely a hit there.
Build: An interesting and complex enough build to keep the avid builders satisfied.
Display: Like I said, I don't think it LOOKS all that great, but with its features like Darth Maul's speeder and his changeable head (you can either have him with a hood or without), as well as the detailed interior, it really is quite a nice set to display.
Playability: I marked this one down slightly on durability because, with the front bit flipping up, that might be a problem when swooshing it around, however everything else is spot on. As mentioned you can change Darth Maul's appearance, there's a place to store his lightsaber and speeder when in flight, and, as always, the flick missiles, you can probably get some decent play out of this one.

Overall, it's a good all-rounder for builders, collectors and players alike. An easy 5 stars.

got this for my son who is 7yrs. He was well able to build it and has loads of fun with it. A bit too big for him top fly around with and it does fall apart a bit but he just puts it back together, and this is 1/2 the fun with lego (and the only reason i dropped it a star for durability). Loads of minifigures which were worth the price paid for the ship alone so all in a great value item that has given loads of fun.

Nothing more, nothing less, Just great! A very good imitation of the movie's spaceship! And it trakes some time to build so you will not get bored!

Took about 4/5 hours to build and easily falls apart when a child starts playing with it.However the kit provides much to do and can stimulate a child for hours.
