The review by `StormSworder' is top notch, so I believe going into details in my review would be repetition at best. So what is there left to say, my nephew loved this set and found it very satisfying to build. The `Sound brick' really adds another dimension to this already great build. I would say that the price on line here is high, as I managed to pick this product up for £29.99 so it is really worth looking around to get a better deal.

I purchased this game for my 9 year old grandson it was a perfect present for him easy instructions & he spent a couple of hours creating this Lego toy would recommend it .

Excellent Lego toy and my son has had loads of pleasure from it. The instructions were easy to follow given how complicated it was to build. Definitely recommend it to any alien conquest fan!

Absolutely loved it. Worried in case it might be easily broken ,but really sturdy and excellant play value. Plus its quite different to the usual ufo set ups. Would definately recommend it. And well done Amazon it was delivered the following day!

My 9 year old son got this for christmas and he really enjoyed building it. It wasn't really simple, he had a few tricky moments where Daddy had to step in to assist but he did most of it on his own and really felt a sense of achievement. It looked great when finished. He got another Alien Conquest Lego kit too and built that the next day! This looked great when finished and he is planning on keeping it in his bedroom on a shelf to show it off.

Having bought and built almost all of LEGO city and a lot of LEGO Star Wars, Alien conquest was a welcome change of scenery. The Mothership is fun to build and comes complete with sound effects. Every so often. it descends on LEGO city to grab a human with its' extending arm. My 8 year old loves it and his dad enjoyed building it!!!!!

My granddaughter was absolutely thrilled with this and couldn't wait to put it together. She loved all the moving parts and the noise it made.

As alien spaceships go, this is up there with the best Lego designs. A very dramatic and impressive "space wheel", the central control pod of which can be detached to become a a saucer-shaped smaller UFO. There is a nice-looking alien pilot, a helpless human reporter to be snatched away and a small alien beast which can be placed on the reporter's head (in the way you would attach a Lego minifig's space helmet) in order to take over her mind and put her to work creating whatever gas the aliens need to breathe (sorry, I'm a fan of Quatermass). Included in the set is another of those "sound pieces" (which comes with battery). Rotate the wheel or the central control pod and the sound brick will make an appropriate alien-sounding noise. There is also a flexible arm under the ship for collecting unsuspecting humans.

All in all, a great set. Imaginative use of Lego pieces (including curved railways) and a first-class design. Children and adult fans of Lego will love it.
