Product Overview
TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space and looks just like a wooden Police phone box from the 1950Ís on the outside, but is of infinite proportions on the inside! This incredible time machine is piloted by The Doctor, a mysterious Time Lord and it's able to transport him anywhere through time and space, disappearing in one place and reappearing somewhere new. Amy Pond waited fourteen years for her chance to travel with the Doctor, after meeting him when she was seven years old. Despite her small-town roots, Amy takes everything in her stride and quickly became the Doctor's best friend. Now you can build the Eleventh Doctors iconic vehicle with this highly detailed construction playset that features TARDIS interior console room and exterior with alien world landscape. Set also includes four Doctor Who micro-figures! The Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, Rory Williams and River Song. Recommended For Ages 7 Years Plus 0 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Birthday gift for seven yr old. Fantastic to play with once built but fairly complicated to build. Took around two hours for us adults to build - lots of small pieces - fantastic when built. Lots of fun. Instructions were easy to follow. Recommend only opening one bag at a time when building. Awesome toy and compatible with lego bricks, which was lucky as we had a few pieces missing. Hours of fun!! 5.0 out of 5 stars dr who ?, 19 Dec 2012

I have to agree with many of the other reviewers of this toy. My 8 year old received it as a present for his birthday. We spent a fair amount of time building it which he enjoyed in short bursts, but it's pretty tricky for an 8 year old and I ended up finishing it off. It looks great when it's complete, but as soon as he tries to play with it or pick it up to move it it simply falls apart which we both find highly frustrating. I have had the same problem with other Character Building sets. The construction just doesn't seem to be as sturdy as Lego. 5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth every penny, 9 Oct 2012

As other reviews indicate this is tricky to construct. Once done it's quite fragile to play with. However, once done, it looks well and the individual 'bricks' are reasonably high quality although not actual Lego. If you already have some 'real' Lego then the best thing to do is to use it to reinforce the construction to make it more playable. Pros: 4 figures, Tardis, current price of £12.49. Cons: fragililty of completed construction, not really suited to young kids (and isn't that who its for?). 4.0 out of 5 stars Not all bad., 11 Aug 2012

Firstly i'd like to start by saying that I agree with the other reviewers who say that this product is flimsy when finished. You construct three seperate walls which have no real support and the main platform balanced on a little column, destined to fail. So why do I say not all bad?At the time of writing Amazon are selling this item heavily discounted. You get a blue TARDIS set, the shows current four main characters and over 600 lego compatible bricks including a TARDIS console. Build it once for the experiance then throw away the instructions and do it better!

I thought i had a great bargain when i bought this, but i was wrongi spent a whole day working on this and when the moment i finished it something fell apart
then another then another thing.
in an ordinary lego set there are a couple of bags which have the lego peices in them
but not in this set, there are about 30 bags and it took me ages to open all of them,
another thing is that the instructions are very hard to follow and some of the steps are impossible to follow
I am a big fan of both dr who and lego and was very dissapionted in this set
they should make a tardis out of proper lego
if you had any sense dont buy this
