This statue is a definite eye-catcher. It's beautifully painted and stands tall at approx 16-17 inches with the base attached.

It's not possible but unlike the pose-enabled dolls, it is less prone to cracking, breaking and suffering from loose joints. The paint job is clean and vibrant with a subtle pearl/metallic effect. I also liked how the air flaps are deployed on the back of his legs.

As mentioned in other reviews the light sensor is on the back but I leave it switched off and only turn the lights on when showing it to friends who all want to take photos and are very impressed with it.

If there is a downside it is that the base could do with a bit more paint to compliment the great detail of cracked rubble. Some scorch marks would have been good. But that's a minor quibble.

In collectors terms, the price tag is quite reasonable for a STATUE (not a toy) of this size. You are not going to find any movable pieces. This is purely for display.

Just Received my statue after a very long wait for it to finally be released and I have to say I'm a little disappointed.As stated in the Amazon description the statue stands about 13 inches tall (including base) not 16 inches as it states on the product box (and the descriptions on many other sites) and the eyes do not stay on continuously in both light up modes, only in continuous mode.The other problem is some genius thought it would be a good idea to put the motion detector on the back of the statue so if you're planning on displaying this anywhere where you won't be able to move your hand behind it and you want it to light up (and let's face it that's what makes it cool) you will need to set the LED's to continuously on.So in conclusion,it looks great but for something that will set you back around £100 it would be nice if it 'did what it says on the tin'.
